The Create Star Tool lets you create stars and N-sided regular polygons. To start create a new shape, click, hold, and drag the mouse to set the desired size of the new shape. Hold Shift to create a shape with equal height and width. Hold Control to start creating the shape from its center, and not from its top-left corner.

Points: Specifies the number of outer star points.
Inner Offset: This value, in percentage points, represents the offset of the inner vertices from the center of the shape. To create a regular N-sided polygon, set it to 100%. To create a highly pointy star, set it to 0%.
