The Create Text Tool lets you create text, either anchored to a point or automatically wrapped within a rectangle. To create a single line of text, simply click anywhere on the canvas and start typing. To create an auto-wrapped text, click, hold, and drag to mark the rectangle within which the text will be located. Then type your text. The wrapping rectangle can be adjusted later.

To finish creating the text, click the "Finish" button on the toolbar, or switch to a different tool. For single-line text, you can also press the "Enter" button on the keyboard.

To edit existing text, select the text tool, and click on an existing text shape. Note that if the text has been previously transformed (for example, rotated and stretched), it will be temporarily modified for easier editing. Once you're done making the changes, it will be transformed back again.

Font: The font which will be used for the text.
Bold: If checked, the text will appear in bold.
Italic: If checked, the text will appear in italic.
Size: Controls the size of the text object being edited.
Finish: Press this button to finish creating or editing the current text object.
